 Recover Data Easy to use and seems to find a lot of the files lost after an inadvertent partition of a vfat drive. However I can do similar things with Testdisk and Photorec, which are GPL tools.

 I had a SATA external disk damaged by an accidental power off and wanted to repair it. I downloaded DRW and attempted to use it. I did not understand that it would not actually save the files unless I had registered. This is not an unreasonable policy but it would be nice to tell people that when the program starts.  Happy customer. I am really happy with the Power CD DVD recovery program. I had a disc with 2000 photos (that I didn't have stored anywhere else) go bad on me. This piece of software saved the day. I found it really easy to use and it recovered all the lost data off the disc.

Super product and so easy to use. We were able to recover all the photos taken during a trip to the Grand Canyon last April. The SD card became corrupt and unreadable after a camera malfunction.

I am very disappointed. The company should know that we buy these programs through desperation to get our files/photos back and taking lengthy times to send the license (after taking my money no less) is not good enough.

Single Worst Program I`ve Ever Purchased I purchased Phoenix CDRom 5 months ago. After numerous emails with Stellar, I was finally able to install without getting the message "This is a demo versio ... you need to purchase the working version." I used it one time in an attempt to recover data from a CD. It couldn't recover anything I couldn't read with Windows Explorer, but at least I didn't feel like I totally got screwed out of $79.That is until I tried to recover another CD. The "This is a demo version" message was back! This is the single worst program I've ever purchased. I don't understand ...
